Recently, we received a letter from Kim asking if camp will offer email to campers.   The idea is that friends and family could send an email to a camp-designated address, the email would be received at camp, and the email would be printed.

Dear Kim,
Your suggestion is wonderful and other camps have implemented email for their campers.  In the summer of 2001, Diabetic Youth Services is formed a partnership with www.Ecamp.net to enable friends and family to send emails to camp.  Email was printed and distributed on a daily basis.  Plans are underway to set-up email for 2002.

Campers will be able to mail letters home and not be able to send emails.  Friends and family can always send letters and packages through the United States Postal Service,  UPS, FedEx, etc.
