Sara is 21 years old, was diagnosed with diabetes 9 years ago, and attended a different diabetes camp for one year in her youth.   Sara asks, "I was wondering if your camp had job opportunities for non-campers to become counselors?"

Michael's reply:

Dear Sara,
Anyone may apply to be a part of the staff at camp.  Being a camper is not a requirement for employment.  In fact, Camp Conrad-Chinnock has some employees who did not attend camp as a youth or do not have diabetes, although most do.  Camp has a variety of jobs, including aquatics, crafts, in-camp program, out-of-camp program (mountain biking, sports, rock climbing, rappelling, mine exploration, etc.), maintenance, dietary and medical, and cabin counselor.

To become a part of our wonderful team, please download a staff application.  You may also call (888) 800-4010 to request an application.  I recommend you submit your application promptly.
